Who needs a pool when you have Irrigation?
So, I dropped by Mom's last week and she needed to get a few things done so I watched the boys for a bit, as you can see, we ventured into the front yard where irrigation was flooding in. The boys had a blast and Will only face planted a couple time and loved every second. The best part was mom telling me " dont let them get all wet!" but I soon realized that was impossible and had to lay out the sopping wet clothes in the sun to dry. Sorry mom! At least the hose got off most of the grass! Pete, I think they get liking playing in the irrigation from you, maybe one day they can build a giant hole in the yard too!

Happy Birthday Dad
Today is my dad's birthday! He would be 65 years old!! He passed away about a year and a half ago, and we miss him! Here are a few pictures of him over the years. He's famous for truly enjoying everyday of his life and every person in it! (That only sounds cliche if you didn't know him.) Happy Birthday Dad!! We Love You!!

Here's my m0m and dad.

Here's my dad and Mason.

Dad, mom, Josh, Anika and family

Here he is hunting geese on in Alberta, Canada. (Sept 2006)

Here's dad with his parents and siblings. Nice mustache!

For a FHE activity, we went to the batting cages.

Here's our family before Brittany was born.

This is when Josh got home from his mission.

More Easter
Mason had a ball hunting Easter eggs and thanks to the basket he got to borrow from Aunt Laura, he had plenty of room to collect his findings.
Okay, so I know this is mean, but I was pressured into this by Mason's uncles...Thankfully, the dress looks much better on Jane!
Here is darling Janie. She had no idea it was even Easter. No egg dying or hunting for her. (See was sleeping) And Mason and some of his other younger cousins were concerned about the lack of an Easter Basket for Jane. What can I say...She won't remember not getting one.

Here is Jane and Johnny. I love this picture of them! Bytheway, Johnny has lost 45 lbs since Jan. 1st!!! Way to Go!!! (He'd be embarrassed if he knew I put that info on here, but I'm proud of him.)

Playing Catch-Up - Easter
It is about time that I add some things to the blog...Sorry I've been such a slacker lately!!

We spent a Wonderful Easter in Thatcher with most of Johnny's family. Mason had a ball coloring easter eggs. Thankfully, I had enough foresight to remember to bring a junky shirt for him to wear, cause he dyed that along with the eggs.

Our Forest of Weeds
My Cowboy
Last week, Johnny went on the stake trek. It was a 3-day, sleep out under the stars, push handcarts 20+ miles type of th ing. He had a great time, but needless to say was very glad to be home and sleep in his own bed. My good friend Whitney was on the trek too and took these pictures. Johnny makes a great cowboy!
